For over three decades now, MSCPA has remained an integral part in the fabric of our member communities. As a municipal joint action agency founded to serve a constituency of local owners and customers, we have always made compliance with environmental regulations a high priority and are justly proud of our standing as a “good neighbor”.
From day one, we have continued to realize the benefits of existing hydroelectric resources located within the community of Marshall. More recently, prior to the enactment of Michigan’s renewable energy legislation, MSCPA members have committed to the development of additional hydroelectric generation with the goal to meet a full 10% of our energy needs from renewable resources.
No matter what lies around the corner, the past is prologue, and MSCPA’s record in meeting environmental challenges inspires confidence for the future and helps us to fulfill our goal to promote a more prosperous, environmentally safe and rewarding life for all.
