Plants that utilize fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas account for roughly 89% of MSC’s generating capacity. In order to utilize the price advantages of fossil fuels, MSC and partners alike have to comply with some of the sternest regulations in the world. A factor in which MSC has taken in account from its origination.
Every enterprise is dependent on solid decision-making for its success. Fluctuations in the price of fuel and frequent governmental policy shifts can make decisions made today have ramifications for the next month, year, decade or beyond. In the energy business there is no guarantee that all future contingencies can be accounted for. However, many examples of effective planning and astute judgment have contributed to the Agency’s growth and provided a solid base from which to spring into the future.
